What you will do

AB TASTY is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support his fast growing team globally.
This person will own our day to day accounting and finance needs for our Worldwide offices (New York, Madrid, London, Paris, Singapore, Köln). Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy must be a part of your DNA as well as exceptional communication and customer service skills. This person must be autonomous and self- motivated.
You will have a direct report to the CFO and you would be expected to take ownership of your projects and be able to execute at a high level without pre-defined processes. We're looking for candidates who want to work in a constantly evolving environment. We are looking for a person who is able to analyze and take a step back, and who is dynamic and proactive.

*What you will do: *

  • Prepare periodic financial statements and reporting documentation
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Own our accounting processes, develop and implement new accounting procedures such as monthly/quarterly/annual closing, accounts reconciliation, revenue recognition, internal controls and compliance
  • Prepare budgets and reforecasts with the Controller
  • Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements
  • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as local taxes and licenses follow-up
  • Assist in tax returns preparation
  • Perform other accounting & financial tasks that get thrown onto your plate on short notice by our CFO
  • You will manage the accounting team in Paris (3 employees including the Credit Management & Invoicing team) as well as the relationship with the external accountants of our subsidiaries

What we are looking for

What we are looking for:

  • You have at least 7 years of accounting experience, ideally with experience in software and/ or SaaS industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have developed a solid knowledge of accounting (French Gaap, IFRS), particularly on financial instruments.
  • You are familiar with one or more accounting and consolidation software (ideally Netsuite)
  • Our environment is highly international oriented. Thus, a fluent level of English is required to succeed in the job
